Hazard
A limited number of batteries have shown to operate at a voltage that is lower than what they were designed for. This potential issue is believed to be caused by an internal component in the batteries. It may in some cases cause damage to the battery’s cells, which could lead to fire hazard when using and/or charging the batteries.
Required action
Out of an abundance of caution, we recommend that you remove the battery from your bicycle at this time and to not plug them in to a charger until further notice.
Remedy
Econic One is working on a battery replacement. All customers have been informed by email.
